Resort Day – Saturday, July 1: 
  • 3 stages for ALL divisions
  • Descending approximately 6,345 vertical feet
  • Day 1 mileage: 11.17
  • Mostly lift assisted

Backcountry Day – Sunday, July 2
  • 2 stages for all divisions
  • Descending approximately 3,240 vertical feet
  • Total timed mileage: 5.95

Notes on pre-riding:

Sun Valley Resort does not open until our race, so there will be no lifts running for lift assisted pre-riding. Personal vehicles are not allowed on mountain for shuttling. Additionally, Stage 1 is a hiking trail and will not be open for riding before race day. Stage 3 will be closed until race day due to elk calving. Please respect these forest service rules. Riders are encouraged to pre-ride Stages 2, 4 and 5.

– Each day after the race concludes there will be a free lunch for all athletes. You must have your food and beer voucher to redeem your food/beer. On Sunday, there will be a raffle followed by awards at the race base area.
– Spectators are welcome and encouraged to join the event festivities.
– Spectators and athletes may view live timing results throughout the race on ItsYourRace.com and the ItsYourRace App.

Athlete Check-in/Registration

When: Thursday, June 29  – 5 – 8 p.m. or Friday, June 30 2 – 7:00 p.m.
Where: Thursday check-in and registration will be outside of the Power House Pub in Hailey, ID. This is where you will sign waivers, receive your free T-shirt, racer plate, and beer/food/raffle tickets.
Friday check-in and registration will be at the Ride Sun Valley Bike Festival expo area outside of the Starbucks in downtown Ketchum, ID.
 
There will be a mandatory athlete meeting at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, June 30 outside of the Starbucks in downtown Ketchum to discuss course details, rules and to answer any questions you may have
 
Registration Notes:
  • There will be no race-day registration on Saturday, July 1.
  • In order to change categories, you must do so at the athlete meeting on Friday, June 30. No race-day category changes will be permitted.
  • If you have to pick up your race plate on Saturday, please arrive an hour before your scheduled start time.
 

Start Times

All riders depart from the expo area and head toward the lift.

Day 1 Start Times:
7:50 a.m. – Open Men field departs expo area
8:05 a.m. – Expert Men field departs expo area
8:20 a.m. – Vet Expert Men 35+ departs expo area
8:35 a.m. – Open Women field departs expo area
8:50 a.m. – Expert Women departs expo area
9:05 a.m. – Vet Expert Women 35+ field departs
9:20 a.m. – Amateur Men field departs expo area
9:35 a.m. – Junior Boys field departs expo area
9:50 a.m. – Amateur Women field departs expo area
10:05 a.m. – Junior Girls field departs expo area

 

 

Day 2 Start Times:

There will be two shuttle buses leaving with riders from the expo area. 1 Shuttle Group will leave at 7:30

Shuttle Group 1 will leave at 7:30 am – Open Men, Expert Men, Vet Expert Men, Open Women

Shuttle Group 2 will leave at 8:30 am– Expert Women, Vet Expert Women, Amateur Men, Junior Boys, Amateur Women, Junior Girls

Sun Valley Clinics

The SCOTT Enduro Cup presented by Vittoria invites intermediate to advanced mountain bikers to join us for clinics designed to tune up skills and learn the secrets of racing enduro. Each clinic will be held the day before the SCOTT Enduro Cup events. Clinics will include topics such as positioning and technique and will be followed by a group ride with skills demonstrations taught by pro men and women.
